Hillcrest’s athletic department holds a number of various sports opportunities for grade school and high school students. Below you will find a listing, with dates. You may register online.

Comet Buddies Cheer Camp

This one-evening experience is open to girls in 1st-5th grade. Cheer Camp will be held in the Upper Campus Auditorium. Comet Buddies will learn about the purpose and mission of cheerleading, some cheerleading fundamentals, and three cheers they will perform at halftime of the varsity game later that night.

Friday, February 16

Cost $5 per child

Grades 1-5 | 5:30-8pm
5:15pm - Doors open for check-in at Upper Campus Auditorium
5:30pm - Cheer camp begins
7:00pm - Cheerleaders and Comet Buddy Cheerleaders walk to the Student Activities Center. Comet Buddy Cheerleaders will sit together in a reserved seating area near the cheerleaders until halftime.
Half-Time - Comet Buddy Cheerleaders perform three cheers
Parent Pickup following performance

Comet Buddies Cheerleaders should wear a red top (lower school uniform or spirit wear t-shirt), black bottoms (shorts, skirt, leggings, or joggers), and tennis shoes.

Comet Strength & Conditioning Program

The Comet 323 Strength & Conditioning Program is a total strength and conditioning program for Comet athletes including trainer-led workouts three days per week. Sessions are held throughout the school year and summer. Comet 10K Shot Club for Boys Basketball

Teams are built during the season, but players are built over the summer!

This 10,000 shot basketball program, open to all incoming 7th-12th graders, gives you a consistent method and accountability to help improve your shooting skills over the summer.
